Operated on my Jack Russell. Came back home a different dog. Can't praise them enough for the work they did. Highly recommended.

This place should be closed down, very quick and happy to take your money for lifetime medication for my dog but when it comes to emergencies it's absolutely disgusting, "I was told to take a seat" after rushing my dog to them, my 35kg husky was having an epileptic fit in my arms as I stood at the front desk, his eyes rolling in his head and foaming from the mouth...SERIOUSLY!!! The last straw was when Nikki gave my boy an injection to "perk him up" her word's, I lost him 2 days later.I researched the medication she gave my dog and it turns out it's actually killed ALOT of dogs. Only a week ago my mother inlaw lost her dog due to the lack of care, attention and seriousness they gave her dog whilst she was bleeding pretty bad from mouth and rear, sending her home with sickness tablets. This isn't even half of the problems/grief and heart ache east gates has caused us.

I find Eastgate vets to be very helpful and knowledgeable as well as very local for us they always put my dog at ease.On number of occasions that we have been we cannot fault them they are a little expensive however you can not put a price on good health care

Im paying almost 11 per month for my pets health plan since June 2017, my pet suffers from dry eye. I have been told that he is due to see the nurse in March 2019 that is nine mo this later and if he needs to see the vet I will have to pay a fee of 36 plus prescription charge, that means that I am paying 130 a year for flea and worm treatment that I can get much cheaper buying elsewhere. This is one of the biggest and legitimate scams I know for vets making money from people. The last fee I paid to see the actual vet was 36 and my pet wasnt seen for more than 5 minutes.

Very friendly vetinary service.Parking is a bit chaotic, not a huge amount of spaces. The waiting room is big, light and airy with enough space to wisely allow cat and dog owners to sit in separate spaces. There is even a small 'quiet' room for the most nervous animals which is lovely! The Reception staff are friendly and well presented with a good working knowledge of products and facilities. The vetinary nurse we saw was lovely. She was professional but warm and welcoming.I would definitely recommend this veterinary practice.
