Always had really good service from this dentist for myself and my 2 children. Both routine and emergancy wise. Recent wisdom tooth issues and needed an emergency appointment on 2 occasions, was seen the same morning and treated within 2 to 3 hours of me calling them. I am a NHS patient.
I have been to this dentist for as long as I can remember and so have my children. I have always received excellent treatment by Mr Maas and his team. Today I called for an emergency appointment for my daughter who had lost a filling and my call was taken by a very polite receptionist. She booked us in for 10am. We got there on time and was seen and dealt with within minutes. Don't be put off by the bad reviews.
I have only good things to say about this dentist so found it rather alarming to read the other reviews. I drive 15 miles every 4 months to see either the hygenist or the dentist here and have had nothing but good service so have resisted the temptation to go more local. I've been with them for 13 years now from when it was owned and run by Mr Smit to the present. Contrary to other reviewers I've always found the reception staff to be pleasant even when it's been very busy. I have just come off the phone to them to reshedule an appointment and got through almost immediately. Maybe I'm just lucky!
Nightmare! I had my teeth filled 2 months ago and it's been in pain since then, which wasn't the worst thing.. When I came back after being suggested to do so from the dentist himself, he laughed about my teeth situation. DR. Maas picked up all the x rays done over the time for few other teeths, he compared and laughed saying that I have horrible teeth anyway and had similar problems before so I should be ok with this one.. We want dentists to make us feel happy leaving, to feel confident and believe that they will fix these problems for us not laugh and make you leave the room with painfull teeth and crying! And it wasn't the first time this doctor laughed at me. AVOID!
