Lovely afternoon at final steam up, well done everyone staff are amazing I actually won the raffle was informed by phone call later this afternoon but asked them to donate to local charity, without the help of these volunteers we would lose another part of local history, well done
Small museum in town centre with traction engines and parts on show in the old Burrell factory. Still maintain working engines there very atmospheric. Dads army Jones van is on show there.small cafe and shop.friendly staff. Worth a visit
Great compact museum, free to enter (donation boxes inside)Guides very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty to see of the historical buildings, how the museum started from the original burrell workings and also the engines. Tea shop is upstairs and the food is good. Great couple of hours spent here well worth a visit.
