It's beautiful here, you have to pay for a map 1 which isn't bad I suppose but after looking at the map it's not actually that necessary. So just look at the signs for the walks :) toilets do need to be checked a bit more regularly though - most had ran out of toilet paper when I went. The walks are really nice and there are a lot of facilities for children to play on and enjoy time with nature. Really worth a visit.
Dog walking and child playing, rock in the woods Go Ape and cycle hire, there is something for everyone. Ample parking and reasonable facilities especially bearing in mind they deal with the welly wearers. Best of all as it is sandy land it never really gets muddy.
We love it here, great space for the kids to play and run around, parking can get busy at times but we've always managed to find a spot. Little cafe for snack, drinks or spot of lunch. Bbqs to hire and plenty of open space to take your own marquee and a picnic etc.
You pay per car not per person.... It's a little highly priced maybe, but if your car is full and the cost shared between the occupants it reduces it greatly! It's well worth it! There's so much to see and do for families. The music trail is a favourite of my son's, as is the huge playground. There's junior GoApe as well as the adult version. Bikes are available to hire and usually a bouncy castle or something similar too. This and the bikes cost extra. Facilities are good for children, bike riders and dogs. There are 2 food outlets both selling lovely food. Definitely recommend a visit!
Very good place to get everyone outdoors when the weather is fine.Number plate scan and automatic boom upon entry and charged at a rate of 2.50 per hour. Pay before you leave or the automatic boom will not let you out.Plenty of parking but remember the name of your parking zone as it gets quite busy on sunny weekends and school holidays.Walking routes.Running routes.Cycling routes.Large grassy areas.Loads of trees and smaller paths.Many children's play areas.Loads of unique wooden sculptures for everyone to discover.Centrally located food Hall and outside/inside seating.If this review is helpful please press like.
