Lovely place to go for wild swimming but water was quite cold even in summer holidays

Gorgeous forest landscape with well marked trails. Good amount of parking and picnic tables. Absolutely worth spending a day here.
A great place to visit. Our children enjoy immensely playing in the Little Ouse river just below the weir. The water is deep enough to swim in or jump into from beside the weir. There are picnic benches set beneath small trees and next to a children's play area. There are also long or short walks, along the river and the surrounding area. Dogs enjoy jumping in to the river, swimming around the many children playing in the river. A great day out.
